As a Visionary, LaShone is the founder of the Blanket of Freedom Non-profit, a 501c(3) organization that supports combat Veterans that suffer with mental illness by providing services and programs that Veterans can explore non-traditional treatment options through the use of drama and expressive therapy.

Lashone has Produced a television talk show entitled "Movie Wine Down"  which is set to air on a network in the near future. LaShone is the current National Title holder "Ms. American Elegance Lady 2016" and the previously was "Ms. Georgia American Elegance Lady 2015". As the reigning titleholder, she raises awareness of the silent wounds that Veterans face as a result of their military service.
