Dr. Holden Speaks about how she overcame an abusive marriage, homelessness, poverty to become a sought-after world-renown author, speaker, and coach.

 

Well, I'm born and raised here in Atlanta and, um, raised in a two-parent household, but you know, dropped out of high school in the 10th grade, had four kids by the time I was 22 and at 35 years old. I believe in an abusive marriage that ended after 10 years, I found myself homeless in the streets of Atlanta was six children, and we were homeless for four years.
So in the last 12 years, I went from being homeless to running for city council in the 2017 election from a GED to a doctorate in leadership studies of 13 times published author. And I ever just released my first comic book last year.
