In a world of empty promises and broken trust, we all crave authenticity. In Romans 7 and 8, Paul talks about some things that we need to be honest about if we’re going to be authentic as a Christian: our scars, and our strength. Building authentic, healthy relationships means admitting that we have battle scars, just like everyone else. But, it also means sharing the truth about the One who gives us strength to overcome in the battle, so that others will see God in us.
