If someone you love is living with PTSD, anxiety, fear, panic, or avoidance, they may not be trying to be difficult—they may be struggling in ways you cannot see.
In this video, I share my own journey with PTSD and anxiety, along with practical, faith-centred ways to support a family member or friend without judging them, enabling avoidance, or trying to “fix” them too quickly.
We talk about why PTSD can look different in every person, how fear can show up as anger, withdrawal, control, or avoidance, and why compassion and truth need to walk together.
My hope is that this encourages both the person struggling and the people who love them: trauma may be part of your story, but it does not have to define your future.
This is a personal, faith-based conversation—not medical advice. Please continue seeking appropriate professional support, treatment, and urgent help where needed.
