If you’ve ever wanted to hear from an expert in all things church history, you must tune in to today’s episode of Real Talk and Friends! Steven C. Harper, a professor of church history and doctrine at BYU, is with our hosts to share his knowledge and insight thanks to his extensive education and experience.  

He earned a MA in American History from Utah State University then went on to get his PhD in early American History from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. He’s been heavily involved in the Joseph Smith Papers and the Saints volumes, and he is currently the editor-in-chief of BYU Studies Quarterly. 

In today’s episode, Ganel-Lyn, Scott, and Steven are going to identify common misconceptions about difficult church history topics like polygamy and the Word of Wisdom, but through a lens of faith in Christ. So tune in and let us know your thoughts!
