Ricardeau Lucceus has called Tampa Bay home for the past 20 years. Mr. Lucceus graduated from The University of South Florida where he earned his Baccalaureate degree in Political Science; he went on to earn his Juris Doctorate degree from the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he was on Honor Roll for Federal Administrative Law, Trial Skills, and Florida Real Estate Law. He also earned the honor of having been on the Dean’s list and a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Phi Delta Phi.
Ricardeau Lucceus is certified by CIPE, the Center for International Private Enterprise, as a Business Association Manager. He has also held several licenses in the State of Florida including, but not limited to, Florida 215 Life and Variable Annuities, Real Estate Sales, and Mortgage Broker. He was a Mortgage Correspondent Lender, Net Branch Manager, who oversaw the processing, approval, and closing of real estate refinance and purchase transactions; additionally, he worked with some of the most advanced experts on risk analysis and regulatory compliance at American Mortgage Consultants.
Mr. Lucceus is an advocate and engages in public policy advocacy; he advocated for issues such as Malaria around the world under the leadership of Nothing But Net, an affiliate of the United Nations Foundation, and advocates on behalf of DACA and TPS recipients.
He uses his platforms to raise concerns relating to injustice, inequality, and lack of due process under the law. He makes it his priority as a community lawyer to be the voice for those who are unable to speak for themselves.
Besides his past leadership activities, intellectual and business successes, Mr. Lucceus is a well-known musician who sings, plays the guitar/composes and arranges music; his writing catalog includes more than 100 songs to date includes and not limited to the famous song “Diversity”,”Vye Frère”, “Knowledge”, “Be nice”, “Haiti Says Thank You”, and “Humanity First.” He also dances Salsa as a hobby and for recreation. In addition, he is the founding member of the award-winning band, Evangel, the founder and President of InterOcean Education Support, Inc., and the founder and Secretary-General of United Nations Student Associations of Cooley Tampa Bay (UNSACT).
In addition, he chaired the Commission for the Promotion of Young entrepreneurs, AEA “Association of Entrepreneurs of Artibonite, Gonaives– Haiti Chamber of Commerce” in 1997 and 1998. Moreover, from 1994 until 1998, he worked as an interpreter-translator and a liaison for the Department of the US Army and the United Nations where he assisted the U.S Army 3rd Special Forces and the United Nations staff, worked for the U.S. Army, U.N. and local government agencies.
Lastly, it is also worth noting that Mr. Lucceus is a published author of “God’s Justice in an Unjust World” and “How Global Corruption Becomes Rotten Flesh.” He is a humanitarian and an integrated community leader, with the hashtag: #yourcommunitylawyer. He is a promotor of humanity, peace, diversity, and compassion.
