During this episode, students, parents, and families will be able to listen to a panel of Black men around how race, vulnerability, emotional taxation, and masculinity are embodied and negotiated by Black men in social, familial, and professional spaces. Furthermore, we will analyze the effects this has on the Black male experience within structural systems of oppression.
What is Real Talk? Real Talk is a dialogue-based series led by our Academic Initiatives team that provides students and faculty an intentional opportunity to learn and engage in a conversation forum around issues of social justice and equity.
