【In this episode】

Listening is hard, because you're focusing on the wrong words! We talked about listening for KEY words, but if they're words you don't know, how do you assume they are KEY words? So, before we can determine which are key words, we must first gather the words we already know.

Start by focusing on the words you DO understand, this way, you'll have a better sense of the overall direction of where the conservation is leading.

When you focus on the words you DON'T understand, you are effectively tripping yourself up by foreign objects, and every small distraction away from the content will chip away at your understanding.

聽懂英文很難，是因為你專注在錯誤的單字上！
我們之前聊過要 Key Words「聽關鍵字」，但如果這些關鍵字你根本不認識，又怎麼知道它們是關鍵字呢？
所以，在我們能判斷哪些是關鍵字之前，第一步是盤點我們已經會的單字。

從你「聽得懂」的字開始，這樣你就能掌握整體對話的走向。
相反地，如果你把注意力放在「聽不懂」的單字上，你就像是被路上的外來物絆倒，
每一個小分心，都會一點一滴地削弱你對內容的理解力。

Lastly, we have to get used to listening to conversation, instead of reading books first. So, how much time are you spending on listening to conversations?

最後，我們也要習慣「聽對話」而不是一開始就「看書」。

當我們練習有效的英語聆聽時，不應該只是被動地聽，而是要有目標地分層次聆聽，每次專注於不同的重點，讓學習更有針對性、更高效。

🔹 第一次聆聽：專注於關鍵詞（keywords），找出句子中最重要的詞彙。


🔹 第二次聆聽：試著抓住大意，理解對話或文章的主題與方向。
🔹 第三次聆聽：關注語調、連讀、重音，體會語言的節奏與情感。


🔹 第四次聆聽：模仿跟讀（shadowing），加強語音語調，提高口語流暢度。

這種層次化的聆聽練習，能夠幫助我們逐步提升理解能力，讓英語真正內化，而不是只是“聽過就算”。每次聆聽都帶著不同的目標與策略，才能讓學習更有效！ 🎧✨
