Anita is a John Maxwell Certified life coach and international bestselling author with career experience in multiple disciplines including pharmaceutical R&D, learning and development, and leadership. She is the founder and creator of The Place to SOAR, a social enterprise dedicated to cultivating change through daily growth and personal development. The SOAR concept—SOAR is an acronym for Step Out and Redesign—grew out of her decision to leave corporate America back in 2013. The Place to SOAR includes SOAR Coaching Academy, the SOAR Youth Empowerment Program and The Place to SOAR TV.

Anita’s most recent publications include a spiritual memoir, I Wanna See Laney’s House, A Sibling Story (March 2019), representing her debut as a solo author, and co-authoring Voices of the 21st Century (Sept 2019) and Trusting In God: Stories That Inspire, a collection of short stories, testimonies, teachings and life-changing articles from Christian authors (October 2019). Anita resides in Pittsburgh PA.
