Jamie and Doug go over their Mother's Day celebration, and how special it was to be with each other.  The following day was their son Hendrix’s 4th bday, which sparked some discussion about family and boundaries.  A very real and vulnerable discussion came up, on how much it hurts when people you love don’t show up, or remember your kids birthday.  They reflect on their move to Florida, and what Jamie has learned by setting up personal boundaries.  She gives some very raw and real advice for anyone in that same position!

Jamie and Doug recap the events of their first gender reveal, which came back as a boy. Twin no.2 was still unknown, since the early gender test can only pick up male or female, not both. Here all about the intimate party they had, the reaction from the kids, and the exciting news of finding out whether they are identical or fraternal. Later in the episode, Jamie dives deep into her past, and talks about the struggle of a toxic home environment, and what helped her mentally move on from constant chaos, to finding a better, safer, and more peaceful mindset. Doug also shares a memory from their first couple weeks together, when he noticed a shift in Jamie’s thinking. The end of the episode covers a recap of the entire season 17 Married at First Sight. Ep 177.  We know the Gender for Both Twins!!

Twins Update....Jamie had her blood tested at the OBGYN, and got a full update on the twins health. They also have in their possession an envelope containing the gender of both babies, and whether they are fraternal or identical. So far they confirmed that 1 is a boy, based on their early detection test from SneekPeek, which was also confirmed by their OBGYN at the 12 week appointment. Hear all about what is next for baby 2 reveal, how the kids reacted to the first gender reveal, and when the 2nd gender will be announced. Later in the episode, Doug gives his raw and honest reaction to the current MAFS cast, and the season ending drama. Is it time for a change in the MAFS process? Would it be better for the couples to not get together during the season?
