I was asked to review the website GenTube.app – an AI that is free and has unlimited use. And although they sponsored this video, I found it’s a pretty impressive SaaS to make some cool images.
What is Gentube.app?
This web-based app allows users to write prompts and watch AI interpret them on the fly with controls and additional keywords. You can get inspiration by other images, as you read the prompts to find out how they created their prompts.
An Easy to Use Interface
The interface is clean on not only computer, but also phone. With the additional keywords on the right, you can get ideas of how to improve on your images.
Real Time Images – Is This the Future?
I especially noticed the real-time rendering as I was typing in prompts. Usually, you have to finish typing and hit “render”, then go get a cup of coffee as the image comes through.
This site goes to work right away. There have been times where I didn’t need to finish my prompt because the right image just showed up.
Could Websites Generate Images on the Fly?
GenTube.app really made me start to think about how fast we can get images. But could they be fast enough where you could have a website that generates new images upon each visit?
I could see this happen in the next 5 years. And it’s more than just creating a random image. What if I had a product where the background changed? What if my thumbnails looked slightly different each time you see them?
And it’s Free to Use – Forever?
GenTube has no pricing plan, no in-app purchase, no limited credit use. You can create more images to share or download, with no watermarks.
Last year I reviewed Fooocus – a program you can install and run on your computer. With GenTube, you don’t need to do that same install.
Some Commercial and Monetization Use
You can use these images for certain monetization and commercial options. To find out more, head over to the GenTube Discord channel.
For a free, browser-based generative AI tool, GenTube.app feels like a sleeper hit for 2025. I’ll be using this more for future projects.
