Hello Friends and Family! We’re so glad you joined us today. It’s our hope that you will have a great experience with us while you’re here and sense God’s love through us. It’s our belief that He wants to be in a personal and meaningful relationship with each of us.We’re in a series called “Reality.” The basis for this series is this: We live in two worlds. One is a physical world that is governed by laws like gravity that are absolute and universal. The other world is an unseen spiritual world that Jesus referred to as the Kingdom of God, and this world is governed by laws that are every bit as real as gravity. The reality of the spiritual world is one we cannot dismiss and does not change with time. Today, we’re talking about the Reality of Pain and Suffering. I believe today’s service has the potential to change our view of how God relates to us in times when we wonder if He cares. God is called the “God of All Comfort” in the Bible, and our prayer is that we will all let Him comfort us in our times of pain and suffering.I invite you to stop by our Next Step Bookstore to look at the books I picked to help us learn more about the realities we’ll cover in this series. You can also pick up some Lanna Coffee. The proceeds of each purchase go to help the Northern Hill Tribes of Thailand who grow the coffee for their livelihood.Learning about reality with you,Pastor Ron
