Sometimes it's good to be reminded of what's really important in life.

Paul did that often for his readers like in his letter to the Corinthians.

He wrote, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.

I'm glad he wrote this.

With our crazy schedules and our fast and furious life, it's easy to get moved away from those things that are of first importance.

As this new year begins, take a fresh look at the Gospel.

That's where you've taken your stand.

Can I echo Paul's words today and remind us that He is what's really important in life?
