All over the place!

This book is all over the place. Characters are introduced very poorly... then there is so many character to get to know... that really aren't all that important. Then important plot points happen while getting to know a new characters, which is very confusing...

There is great, great potential here... but obviously this has to be a new writer or something.. b/c this was just all over the place.

I didn't even skipped to the end... I got bored.. so I just quit.

I would say.. pass this up... but don't give up on this author... maybe just another book.

No I wouldn't.

The characters tend to come across as whiny and the cadence of the narration doesn't help either.

The storyline itself is not so bad, but nothing I would care to read again. The characters come across as petulant kids, even as one feels the intent is to portray strong, capable characters.

Would you be willing to try another one of Brittany Pressleys performances?

Extremely unlikely. It's probably a good story but the narrator is pretty awful and thus detracts from enjoyment of he book.

Did Realm Walker inspire you to do anything?

Yes - ensure I'm more diligent about picking new authors / narrator s.

nice try but I am so confused

I had high hopes, but I am totally confused, there are hints at a backstory but nothing concrete, how does the mate of a mastervampire get abandoned and then go onto have an implied sexual relationship with his second, territorial not much, is this a spineless vamp!!! Who is Thomas, who is Michael and why is she the way she is, who is she apart from being special but why is she special. Grrrrr I am up to chapter 6 and I am so confused.

I might try another one by this author but not this particular series. Sorry
