As we continue our search for a permanent home in Connecticut, MSYH.FM is hosting monthly studio recording sessions in New Haven, CT. These sessions are taking place at The Sandbox, courtesy of the Greater New Haven Art Council. As a part of our monthly DJ showcase we will be highlighting our station's local resident DJs and hosts as well as guest DJ sets from some of the state's most talented selectors.
This month we are featuring REAPER.
From the artist: Emerging from the shadows of Hartford, CT, a formidable presence in the underground music scene. Enveloped in the brooding atmosphere of UK influences, Reaper conjures a sonic landscape shrouded in mystery and intrigue. Specializing in the darker realms of UK Garage, Drum & Bass, UK Funky, House, Ominous tones of UK Grime and 90’s Hip Hop, Reaper's sets are a descent into the depths of the unknown. With an ominous allure and an unrelenting intensity, Reaper commands the dance floor with an iron grip, leaving listeners entranced in a hypnotic trance.
