Reasons

In the dream i had tonight,

I saved someone from you.

Saying just a single word,

was all i had to do.

He asked me if you’re playing him

and all i said was: ‘Yes!’

It was like a million tons

were lifted off my chest.

We all have our reasons.

I’m not to judge.

But you can’t really blame me

for holding a grudge.

that i had done before.

The doubts that had been nagging him
