Chapter 1:
-We are finally learning more about what led to Vision Vancouver mayoral candidate Ian Campbell quitting the race for mayor. Global News has learned Campbell was charged with assaulting his partner eight years ago, but the charge was dropped. Campbell was also charged and pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention “at or near West Vancouver” in 2006. Do political parties not vet their candidates anymore?
Chapter 2:
-Global News has learned dozens of Canadian business have received next to nothing in tariff duty relief two months (July 1st) after Ottawa slapped retaliatory tariffs on US imports in response to levies on Canadian steel and aluminum. Only $11,000 has been dished out to businesses, despite Ottawa taking in $286 million in the months since imposing the payback tariffs.
Chapter 3:
-The former high flying CBC host has emerged from imposed exile to write about his life after being accused of sexual assault by numerous women, including those he worked with.
