In 2020, Josh Polito 35 Husband and father of 2 sons was diagnosed with a rare condition called Sarcoidosis, an inflammatory disease that often affects the lungs. Determined to persevere and provide hope and inspiration for others he completed his first half marathon in the fall of 2022. After finishing and barely able to walk he registered for the Atlantic City IronMan 70.3 determined to live his life on his own terms and push past his own known limitations.
