Prayer is the only business delivered to us from the Lord. You can't be fervent in the Spirit where your business of prayer has crumbled. Without a prayer life, there is nothing for the Spirit to manifest through. Poverty hardly manifest in a prevailing prayer but in a state of prayerlessness. The extra hours slept away, is the future exchanged on your bed of comfort. Prayer is God's divine generator. No prayer, no Spirit baptism. You can't miss afflictions and reproaches when the wall of prayer is broken down. Ask Nehemiah. A man of prayer is a man of understanding and wisdom.
