Just like many of us, Angelique was taught that her only option was to graduate high school and go to college. After obtaining her degree in higher education, and freelancing on the side, she finally left the traditional sector for a director position at a makeup school. During this venture, she constantly stared at her vision board longing for the day that she too would work with celebrities during fashion week. Soon she would experience a true heartbreak, and finally answered her calling to start her own makeup company "Breakups to Makeup." Years later, she is now producing her makeup line and mentoring other makeup artists in the community. Tune in to hear her story as she speaks about how someone, like you, can transition into this space.
