American Honda is recalling its Portable Generators. The inverter assembly may short circuit if salt water leaks in. Should that happen, the unit will smoke and may catch fire.
About 340,000 units were sold in the US.
Immediately stop using those generator. Contact a local authorized Honda Power Equipment service center to schedule a free repair. For more information, call 1-888-888-3139.
