The CPSC and Scott Fetzer Consumer Brands now recall American Angler Electric Fillet Knives.  The “trigger” switch on the electric fillet knife may stick in the “on” position creating a laceration hazard for the user and bystanders.  About 43,200 of these knives were sold in the US at Walmart, Bass Pro Shops and other retailers and online at www.amazon.com.  About 630 were sold in Canada.  Stop using these knives immediately, unplug them, and cut the power cord.  Then contact Scott Fetzer Consumer Brands by phone at 1-833-656-1147 or via email at [email protected] for a free replacement knife and information about sending the company photo proof of unit destruction in order to obtain a refund.
