The FDA and Loki Fish Co. have issued a recall of Keta Salmon Lox. This food product is contaminated with listeria monocytogenes. This bacterium causes a serious and sometimes fatal infection in the very young, elders, and those who are immunocompromised. It can trigger miscarriages and stillbirths. This product has been sold in Oregon and Washington state. If you purchased this lox, don’t consume it. Destroy it or return it to the place of purchase.
