The CPSC and Specialized now recall Specialized Tarmac SL7 Bicycles and Framesets. The bicycle’s fork steering tube may fracture as the result of a severe jarring such as hitting a deep pothole and leading to the rider falling and sustaining an injury. About 6900 of these bicycles were sold at Specialized Bicycle Components retailers nationwide. If you have one of these bicycles, immediately stop riding it and contact Specialized by phone at 1-877-808-8154 f or via email at [email protected] to arrange for a free inspection and repair.
