“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others.” (Matthew 23:23)It is not a good idea (NAGI) to ignore justice, mercy, and, most importantly, trustworthiness. We miss the point if we focus on these attributes as if they were absent or weak in our character. Christ Jesus is everything that completes us in life by His nature. For instance, He is love. Love (He) never fails to be just or merciful. Trust is so close to the love of truth that we can worship God best by being trustworthy.We receive the All to be the all we have received.I receive You, Lord, not just as a get-out-of-hell card but as the Life of Love which can bring heaven into my everyday living, hellish or not.
