Mercy & grace are inseparable , but they are not the same thing.Mercy - when we don't get what we deserve.Grace - when we get what we don't deserve.We abuse mercy when we don't live by His grace. To overemphasize mercy is to trample on His resurrection.We abuse grace when we don't remember mercy. To overemphasize grace is to trample of His sacrifice.To use grace as a license to sin is to completely misunderstand grace.
