Part 1: On His Own Recognizance – December 7, 2018, Tupelo, Mississippi. 17-year-old Latavious Betts murdered 66-year-old Annie Walton, in a drive-by shooting, while he should already have been incarcerated. Part 2: He Took Action – December 8, 2018, Mishawaka, Indiana. 16-year-old Aaron Trejo murdered 17-year-old Breana Rouhselang, as well as their unborn child. Part 3: Twins – December 17, 2018, West Hartford, Connecticut. 12-year-old Brigid Curtin is murdered and her mother is stabbed, by her twin brother. Part 4: Guilt – New Year’s Eve 2019, Lawrenceville, Georgia. 15-year-old Devin Hodges accidentally shoots 17-year-old Chad Carless, then takes his own life. Part 5: Joyride – New Year’s Day 2019, Houston, Texas. A 14-year-old boy and his friends’ egg-throwing prank incite a high-speed chase, and the fatal crash that kills 45-year-old SIlvia Zavala. Part 6: Sisters – January 4, 2019, Magnolia, Mississippi. 14-year-old Amariyona Hall and her 12-year-old sister murder their own mother, on their second attempt in a week. Part 7: Unwelcome – January 23, 2019, Uvalde, Texas. A 12-year-old boy is banned from a friend’s home, but returns and shoots professional boxer 24-year-old John Duane VanMeter in his own home.
