• Most ingredients of any recipe are often distasteful by themselves.
   
  • But put them all together and you get something WONDERFUL!
     
    • So it is with the ingredients of Easter! 
• The Ingredients of Easter:
   
  • Palm Sunday
     
    • Like sugar its sweet, but strangely unsatisfying.
• The Last Supper
   
  • Like milk, wholesome and healthy, helping to keep us strong
• Judas’ betrayal
   
  • Like vanilla extract, bitter and overwhelming, but necessary to appreciate the flavor of all that will transpire.
• The torture and humiliation of Jesus
   
  • Like raw eggs, that make kind of make you sick just to look at it.
• The crucifixion
   
  • Like baking soda, horrible by itself, but mixed with everything else it will bring about the “rise” that the world celebrates today!

• The ingredients of each of our lives are often distasteful all by themselves. But when mixed together, create something beautiful… if… we give them to Jesus!
   
  • Trust the ingredients of your life to Christ, and you will experience your own resurrection!
