We usually defer to some form of negativity in difficult moments. If we really want freedom from fear, then we must awaken the desire to understand what is presently in charge of our lives. Spiritually speaking, we have to awaken the desire to understand our pain. Whenever we are willing to let pain tell us all about itself, we will be told and we will learn. We will learn because we will see, and because we will see, we will be free.
