Earlier this week, I visited our church’s website just to be reminded of what Landa said this month’s theme is all about. One of the things she spoke of was this idea of joy that has been lost due to various reasons. And I felt a great sense of connection to this statement. I knew then and there that joy is what I need to talk about should I get an opportunity.

Now joy is a terrible thing to lose, because it’s not like I can just choose to be joyful. It’s not like I can just choose to not be affected by my circumstances. Even though this is the message we give to people sometimes. Just be happy! How? Don’t be sad.
