In the inaugural episode of Kingdom Mystics, we reclaim and reframe the word mystic. What if the term ‘mystic’ didn’t originate in the New Age movement or Occult, but in an Eastern Religion called Christianity?

It’s true, the term ‘mystic’ is in our history and orthodoxy. We need not be afraid of something that finds its origins in our roots. In this episode, we will strip away the fears and additives placed on ‘mystic’, ‘mystical’, and ‘mysticism’.

The Gospel is mystical. When we traverse through it, we recognize how much other-worldly interactions, interventions, and more take place. From the beginning to the end, we see just how mystical the story of the Gospel is. We have been brought into the glorious mystical union with Christ and salvation itself is an utterly mystical reality. Let’s reclaim and reframe that which is in our history and orthodoxy!
