The state has acquired large tracts of land recently for Florida’s wildlife corridor, making a difference in preserving the aquifer, animals and producing food. Willing sellers are selling hundreds of thousands of acres to the state, adding to the land set aside across Florida. Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson also discussed the growing FFA programs.
