  • What Does Intuition Actually Feel Like?

Have you ever had a feeling you couldn't explain and wondered whether it was your intuition speaking… or your fear getting the best of you?

I've experienced moments when I felt I knew something before it happened. I've also experienced anxiety so convincing that I imagined the worst and wondered if I was somehow sensing the future.

So how do we tell the difference?

In this episode of Reclaiming Her, we're exploring what intuition can feel like, why fear and anxiety can sometimes be mistaken for inner knowing, and what it really means to trust yourself.

I'll share personal experiences from my intuitive development, a surprising moment during a psychic development exercise, and the decision to step away from full-time teaching when I realized something in my life needed to change.

We'll also challenge the familiar advice to “feel the fear and do it anyway.” Sometimes growth asks us to step outside our comfort zone. Other times, fear or discomfort may be inviting us to pause, examine our boundaries and question whether the path we're on is sustainable.

Because fear isn't automatically a sign you're on the wrong path. But it isn't automatically a sign you're on the right path, either.

    In this episode, we explore:

What intuition has felt like in my own life.

Why vivid thoughts and worst-case scenarios aren't necessarily intuitive messages.

How to question the difference between intuition, fear, anxiety and excitement.

Why blindly pushing through fear can sometimes mean ignoring your own needs.

How our personal biases can influence intuitive readings.

Five questions to help you pause, reflect and make more conscious decisions.

How to begin developing your intuition without forcing signs or needing every feeling to have an answer.

A question to reflect on this week:

When do you feel most connected to your own inner knowing? Is it when you're in nature, journalling, creating, moving your body or giving yourself a quiet moment to think?

Start noticing. You don't have to prove that every feeling is intuition. You can simply get curious about what you're experiencing and learn from it.

  • Why I Need Quiet.

Have you ever experienced something so oddly specific that you had to stop and think…

“Okay… what are you trying to tell me?”

    A number that keeps appearing.
A word you suddenly see everywhere.
A person showing up at exactly the right moment.
A bird that catches your attention on a day you really needed it.

But what if the signs aren't new?

What if they've been there all along—and you just weren't quiet enough to notice them?

In this episode of Reclaiming Her, I’m sharing some of the strangest, funniest, and most meaningful signs and synchronicities I've experienced—from the word CAVE appearing everywhere in a single day, to the mysterious number 336, a very unexpected fox, a cardinal at exactly the right moment, and my current obsession with… rubber ducks. 🦆

But underneath all the stories is something much deeper.

There was a time in my life when I was so disconnected from myself that I wasn't paying attention to much beyond what was right in front of me. I was busy following the path I thought I was supposed to follow—get the job, meet the guy, get married, buy the house, keep moving.

    I wasn't listening to myself.

And I certainly wasn't looking for signs.

This episode is about what changed when I finally started getting quiet enough to notice.

    We'll talk about:

✨ How to recognize a synchronicity without turning everything into a “sign”
✨ The difference between actively searching for an answer and simply noticing what catches your attention
✨ Why signs don't necessarily give you an answer—they can give you a question
✨ How intuition helps us discern what feels meaningful
✨ Why the same sign can mean something completely different to two people
✨ What our bodies might be telling us before our brains catch up
✨ What happens when we repeatedly ignore our own inner voice
✨ My personal belief about soul contracts, free will and why signs might act as little nudges along our path
✨ A simple seven-day experiment to start noticing what's happening around you

And most importantly, we're going to talk about what happens when you stop looking outside yourself for every answer…

and start paying attention to what's already happening inside you.

Because maybe the universe isn't getting louder.

Maybe you're finally getting quiet enough to hear it.

    Key Takeaway:

You don't have to chase signs.

You don't have to decode everything.

You don't have to believe every coincidence means something.

You can simply get quiet enough to notice.

Because sometimes the sign isn't there to tell you what to do.

Sometimes it's simply there to make you pause…

    ask a question…

    and reconnect with yourself.

    Your Seven-Day Experiment

For the next seven days, don't go looking for signs.

Instead, notice what catches your attention.

    A number.

    A song.

    A person.

    A word.

    A feeling in your body.

    A repeated coincidence.

Something that makes you stop and think:

    “Huh. That's interesting.”

And instead of immediately asking “What does this mean?”, ask:

    “Why did I notice that?”

    Then get quiet.

Pay attention to what you feel.

You might be surprised by what you discover.

  • Why I Stopped Looking for the Perfect Answer

Have you ever felt like you're waiting for the answer before you can finally move forward?

    The right career.

    The right decision.

    The right relationship.

    The right diagnosis.

    The right opportunity.

The sign that says, Yes. This is it. You're on the right path.

I've spent a huge part of my life looking for that answer.

And eventually I had to ask myself:

    What if there isn't one?

What if I don't need to have everything figured out before I take the next step?

What if I can listen, try something, pay attention, learn, and course correct along the way?

In this episode, I talk about the search for certainty in my health, my career, my businesses and my life and the shift that happened when I stopped asking, “What's the perfect answer?” and started asking:

    “What do I already know?”

I also share the unexpected way this changed the work I do today.

Because after years of being the woman who was doing 100 different things, I finally started paying attention to the things that consistently brought me energy, meaning and a sense of this feels like me.

And that's how I came to recognize the work that belongs to me:

    Find Her.
    Intuitive Reiki.
    Holistic Health Coaching.
    And this podcast.

They may look like different things from the outside, but to me, they're all part of the same bigger purpose:

    Helping women reconnect with themselves.

Maybe the answer you're waiting for isn't something you need to find.

Maybe it's something you need to start listening to.

    In this episode:

Why I became so attached to finding the “right” answer

How my search for answers around my health mirrored the way I approached my career and businesses

Why changing direction doesn't necessarily mean you've failed

What I learned from paying attention to what gives me energy and what drains me

How I went from asking “What else can I do?” to asking “What actually belongs to me?”

Why Find Her, Intuitive Reiki, Holistic Health Coaching and podcasting all fit into the same bigger vision

The question I'm now asking instead of “Am I making the right decision?”

Why you don't need certainty to take the next step

A question to take with you:

What answer are you waiting for before you give yourself permission to move forward?

    And then ask yourself:

What is the thing I already know?

  • The Versions of Me I Had to Outgrow.

I recently found an old training I created years ago, where I had made a list of everything I was doing at the time.

And reading it now was... a lot.

I was working full-time, raising two little kids, building businesses, taking courses, teaching yoga, training clients, running retreats, managing properties, working on brands and websites, learning Reiki and tarot—and somehow convincing myself that this was all part of the plan.

    The strangest part?

I wasn't doing all of it because I was bored or needed a distraction in my life…

I was doing it because I desperately wanted to build a life that would eventually give me more time and energy for my family.

Instead, I became exhausted, anxious, distracted and eventually very sick.

And this is where the story gets uncomfortable.

Because when I look back at those years, there are things I genuinely regret.

    I wish I'd slowed down.

I wish I'd been more present.

I wish I'd cared less about proving myself.

And there are moments with my children that I wish I could go back and experience differently.

For a long time, I told myself:

    I wasted those years.

But I'm starting to see that story differently.

Because the woman I was back then also gave me so much.

    She taught me resilience.

    Leadership.

    Courage.

    Creativity.

    How to build things.

    How to work through anxiety.

    How to communicate with people.

    How to trust myself.

How to recognize what actually matters.

And eventually, she taught me that being capable of doing something doesn't mean I have to keep doing it.

This episode is about the different versions of me I've been throughout my life; the achiever, the chameleon, the woman who said yes to everything, the woman who thought quitting meant failure, and what happened when I finally started asking a different question:

    Do I actually want this?

Because maybe outgrowing yourself doesn't mean becoming someone completely different.

Maybe you don't have to hate who you were.

Maybe you can grieve what you wish had been different...

while still having compassion for the woman who was doing the best she could with what she knew at the time.

    And maybe...

every version of you was helping you become her.

In this episode, I talk about:

    - Why I became obsessed with doing everything

    - The real reason I was building so many businesses and projects while my kids were little

    - What it felt like to look back at that version of myself

    - The difference between being capable of something and actually wanting it

    - Why changing direction used to feel like failure to me

    - What a failed business venture actually taught me

    - Learning to define success for myself

    - Why being good at something doesn't mean it's yours to keep

    - How getting sick forced me to reconsider where I was putting my energy

    - The regret I still carry around those years

    - Learning to forgive myself without pretending I wouldn't change anything

    - What I'm choosing to keep from the women I've been

    - And why I no longer think I need to become someone completely new

    A question to sit with:

When you look at a version of yourself you regret, what did she give you?

Not what did she do wrong.

Not what should she have known.

    What did she teach you?

And what are you ready to stop carrying?

  • Part 2 - What Was Already There

When I first found Reiki, I thought I was learning a new healing practice.

I had no idea how much it would change the way I experienced myself.

After my first Reiki course, I immersed myself in learning and practising. I began using Reiki in my meditation and noticed how grounded, calm and connected it made me feel. But I was still questioning everything.

Was I doing it right? Was it actually doing anything?

Then I started practising Reiki on other people.

I began experiencing emotions, physical sensations and intuitive information that I didn't know how to explain. At the time, I hadn't studied psychic development or mediumship, so in my mind...

    it was all Reiki.

And then something else began happening.

I started seeing flashes of light again.

I'd actually experienced things like that as a child, but somewhere around high school and university, they stopped — and I hadn't even noticed they were gone. Years later, as I became quieter and more connected to myself, I started noticing them again around people.

    I started paying attention.

    I noticed patterns.

I tested what I was experiencing.

    I listened.

And slowly, I began to wonder whether Reiki had actually given me a completely new ability...

or whether it had simply helped me notice what had been there all along.

This episode is about that discovery — but it's also about something much bigger.

It's about what happens when you become quiet enough to hear yourself again.

The body you stopped listening to.

    The intuition you kept second-guessing.

    The curiosity you pushed aside.

The parts of yourself that may not be gone at all...

    just waiting for your attention.

    In this episode, I share:

    - Why I became fascinated with Reiki after my first course

    - How Reiki changed my relationship with my body

    - My first experiences noticing emotions and sensations while practising on others

    - The moment I realized I was beginning to experience things I couldn't explain

    - The flashes of light I started seeing again

    - The patterns I began noticing around people

    - Why I initially thought all of these experiences were Reiki

    - How I learned to notice, test, validate and learn

    - Why becoming a Reiki Master wasn't a finish line for me

    - What being a healer means to me

    - Why I eventually decided to teach Reiki

    - The question I think all of us can ask when something keeps calling us

A question to take with you:

What part of you have you been asking to be quiet so you can keep up with the life you've built?

You don't have to change everything.

    Just listen.

    Curious about Reiki?

I created my Reiki Level 1 course for the woman I was when I first heard the word Reiki — curious, unsure, and not knowing where it might lead.

It's self-paced, with a personal one-on-one attunement, so you can explore Reiki in a way that fits your actual life.

  • Part 1 - I Thought I Was Learning Reiki

I Thought I Was Learning Reiki

What I was actually learning about myself

When I signed up for my first Reiki course, I didn't really know what I was getting myself into.

I knew I'd been feeling drawn toward healing, energy and intuition. I knew I'd heard the word Reiki before. But I didn't have a clear plan.

I was simply following a nudge.

And then Reiki became part of my everyday life.

I wanted to understand it. I wanted to practise it. I wanted to Reiki everything. 😂

But somewhere in those first few weeks, I started realizing that Reiki wasn't just teaching me about energy.

It was teaching me how to listen.

    To my body.

    To my own energy.

To what I was feeling around other people.

And eventually, to things I couldn't quite explain.

For most of my life, I'd had a very different relationship with my body. As a competitive gymnast and athlete, I expected my body to perform. I pushed through soreness, fatigue and pain because I believed effort could get me where I wanted to go.

Until eventually, my body started forcing me to stop.

Reiki gave me another way of relating to it.

Instead of asking, How can I push through this?

    I started asking:

What do you need right now?

And that shift changed more than my relationship with my body.

As I began practising Reiki on other people, I started noticing emotions, physical sensations and intuitive information that I didn't yet understand. At first, I assumed it was all Reiki because I didn't have the language for the different experiences I was having.

I just knew that something was happening.

And the more I listened, the more I noticed.

This episode is the beginning of that story.

And maybe there's something in your own life that you've been noticing, too.

Maybe your body has been trying to get your attention.

Maybe you've had a feeling you can't explain.

Maybe there's something you're curious about but keep talking yourself out of.

You don't need to have all the answers.

Sometimes the first step is simply learning to listen.

In this episode, I talk about:

Why I initially wanted to Reiki everything

My first 30 days of Reiki practice

The relationship I had with my body as an athlete

What chronic pain taught me about slowing down

Learning to listen instead of constantly pushing

My first experiences practising Reiki on other people

The unexpected emotions and sensations I began noticing

Why I initially thought all of these experiences were simply Reiki

What happened when I started paying closer attention

And the first hints of something I hadn't yet learned how to explain

A question to take with you:

What have you been noticing lately that you haven't really given yourself time to listen to?

You don't have to understand it yet.

    You can just notice it.

  • A September Pause

September has a way of making us feel like it's time to get back to everything.

    Back to school.
    Back to routines.
    Back to work.
    Back to schedules.
    Back to goals.

But what if September isn't asking you to do more?

What if it's inviting you to pause and reconnect with yourself?

In this special Reclaiming Her interlude, I pull a tarot card for the season ahead → The Star, card XVII from The Light Seer's Tarot → and reflect on what this card might have to say about hope, renewal, trust and the next chapter of our lives.

Whether you're a teacher heading back to the classroom, a student beginning a new school year, a parent navigating the return to routine, or simply someone feeling that familiar September “reset” energy, this episode is an invitation to slow down for a moment and check in with yourself.

    Instead of asking:

    What should I accomplish?
What do I need to fix?
What should I be doing next?

    I want you to ask:

What am I hoping for in this next season of my life?

You don't need to have the whole plan figured out.

Sometimes you just need enough light to see the next step.

And sometimes, the path doesn't light up all at once.

It lights up one step at a time.

    In this episode, we explore:

The energy of September and seasonal transitions

Why “back to routine” can sometimes mean losing touch with ourselves

The meaning of The Star in tarot

Hope, renewal and trusting what lies ahead

    Listening to your inner knowing

Giving yourself permission to want something different

Why you don't need the whole plan before taking the next step

A reflection question for your own September season

And next week, we're returning to my story and going deeper into Reiki; what it actually became for me, why I kept following it, and why I eventually felt called to create my own Reiki Level 1 course.

Maybe Reiki will be your next little yes.

    Your September Reflection:

What am I hoping for in this next season of my life?

    Don't force an answer.

    Just listen.

And if something comes to you... pay attention.

  • The Path Lit Up

There was a point in my life when I knew I wanted to become a medium...

    I just didn't think I could.

For years, I'd been told by psychics, healers, tarot readers, and other people in my life that I was intuitive. That I was a healer. That I was a medium.

And a part of me believed them.

But another part of me thought...

"You have to be born with that."

I didn't think someone like me could just learn how to become a medium.

So I kept putting it off.

Until one day, while I was standing in the shower, I had one of those moments I can only describe as a download.

    Now's the time.

I didn't know how I was going to become a medium.

I didn't know who would teach me.

I didn't even know what my next step was.

But for the first time, I didn't question it.

    I decided:

I'm going to become a medium.

And then something happened that still makes me laugh...

The very next day, my friend Shanaz texted me.

She had just signed up for a mediumship course.

    There was one spot left.

    And somehow, I knew.

    This was it.

In this episode, I take you inside those first days of my mediumship journey—from the moment I finally trusted that inner knowing, to my first mediumship class and the experience that made me realize:

Oh my God... I can actually do this.

But I also discovered something else.

Sometimes the hardest part isn't receiving the message.

It's trusting yourself enough not to second-guess it.

And maybe that has nothing to do with mediumship for you.

Maybe you've had a feeling about something in your own life...

    A career.

    A relationship.

    A creative idea.

    A business.

    A new direction.

Something you've wanted to try but kept telling yourself you weren't ready for.

This episode is about what happened when I stopped waiting to know exactly how the story would unfold...

and finally took the next step.

    In This Episode

✨ Why I believed you had to be born a medium
✨ The moment I received the strongest "now's the time" download of my life
✨ The unexpected text that appeared the very next day
✨ Why I trusted Shanaz and immediately took the last spot in her mediumship course
✨ My first experience with "sitting in the power"
✨ The exercise that gave me my first real validation that I could do this
✨ What getting some answers wrong—and second-guessing the ones I got right—taught me about intuition
✨ Why I still call myself a developing psychic medium
✨ How mediumship changed my relationship with death and grief
✨ Why you don't need to have the whole path figured out before you take the next step

    A Question For You

Before you move on to your next podcast episode, I want you to think about this:

What is something you've been feeling pulled toward... but you've been waiting until you're "ready" to begin?

What would happen if you didn't need the whole plan?

What if you only needed the next step?

Maybe you don't need to know where it's going.

Maybe you just need to trust yourself enough to find out.

  • The ‘Yes’ That Opened the Door

The Yes That Opened the Door

Have you ever felt pulled toward something you couldn't quite explain?

A course. A career change. A creative idea. A spiritual practice. Something you've wanted to try for years, but instead of following that little nudge, you start asking yourself:

    Do I have the time?
    Is it worth the money?
    What will people think?
What if I'm not good at it?
What if I don't know where it's going?

    I've lived that way too.

But there was one point in my life when I did something very unlike me.

I said yes before I had all the answers.

I didn't even really know what Reiki was.

My friend Kim called me from a crystal shop and invited me to take a Reiki Level 1 and 2 course with her. I hadn't researched it. I didn't have a plan. I was simply curious.

And that one little yes opened a door I didn't even know I was looking for.

    In this episode, I share:

✨ How I unexpectedly found Reiki
✨ Why I was fascinated but still skeptical
✨ What happened during my first Reiki attunement
✨ The surprising message my teacher shared with me
✨ Why my 30-day Reiki practice changed my relationship with intuition
✨ The hilarious—and slightly terrifying—experience that finally made me believe Reiki was actually doing something
✨ Why Reiki felt completely different from the achievements I'd chased earlier in my life
✨ How Reiki opened the door to my developing intuitive and mediumship abilities
✨ The experience that made me realize, "I need a mentor."

And underneath all of it is a question I hope you'll take with you:

What is your next little yes?

You don't need the whole map.

Sometimes you just need the next step.

✨ A Little Note for You

    Maybe Reiki isn't your thing.

    That's okay.

The bigger question is whether there's something you've been curious about.

    Something you've been thinking about.

Something you keep coming back to.

Something that makes absolutely no sense on paper—but keeps quietly pulling at you anyway.

Maybe you don't need to know exactly where it's going.

Maybe you just need to be curious enough to begin.

    🌿 Curious About Reiki?

If you've been feeling that little nudge toward Reiki, I've created a self-paced Reiki Level 1 course to give you somewhere simple to begin.

You don't need to have your spiritual path figured out.

You don't need to know where Reiki will eventually take you.

You can simply start with curiosity.

The course goes live August 29, 2026.
Text me at (343) 300-3633 to be added to the info list.

  • Coming Home to Myself

There are a few moments in life that quietly change everything.

Not because you understand them right away...

but because they leave you with questions you can't ignore.

In this episode, I share the story of an ordinary afternoon that became the beginning of my journey back to myself.

    We explore:

✨ The wonder and imagination that shaped my childhood

✨ How growing up slowly pulled me away from my authentic self

✨ Why creating quiet space became the first step toward reconnecting with myself

✨ The meditation experience I still can't fully explain

    ✨ Why curiosity—not certainty—became my greatest teacher

Whether you call it intuition, inner wisdom, God, Spirit, or simply a quiet knowing, I hope this episode reminds you that the voice inside you hasn't disappeared.

It may simply be waiting for you to listen again.
