The self-healing journey can be one of the hardest paths to take in life and, yet, one of the most beautiful. My guest this week on The Conscious Leadership Podcast knows this well. I’m so pleased to have my dear friend Danny Pimentel, Owner and Founder of Halcyon Days Mental Health Coaching and fellow PsyD cohort member, on the podcast to have a frank discussion about trauma, identity, and why it’s more important than ever for men to step into their healing.
This week, Danny vulnerably shares his story of childhood trauma and abuse with us, and how he was able to heal and find his purpose through his experience. His journey and perspectives led us deep into conversation about self-love, worthiness, toxic masculinity, and belonging, and through our discussion, we ultimately recognized that “showing up for yourself is the most important thing you can do for yourself.”
From this episode, you’ll begin to understand the intricacies of healing trauma. While self-healing is difficult and painful, it’s a journey that is well worth the struggle. Hang in there, and if you need support, don’t hesitate to contact someone you really vibe with to help you through because there really is true peace and healing on the other side.
This week’s guest was Danny Pimentel! Danny is the owner and founder of Halcyon Days coaching, with a specific focus on helping humans recover from anxiety and trauma while helping them own their sexual identity - particularly in the realm of men’s mental health.
