This week’s events around Cope and its leadership crisis, the common phrase they were using was reuniting the party. This is a favourite line among politicians especially the ruling party. The PAC also had their elective conference over the weekend talking about growing the party. Basically the point we are making is how almost all the political parties are talking about strengthening themselves and members wanting to climb the leadership ladder. In all of these statements, very little is said about building the country and caring for citizens. This brings us then to the question of how long we are going to depend on politicians to change our lives? What can we do as citizens to reclaim our country?
