On this week's show, we speak with members of the revolutionary indigenous organization, The Red Nation as well as a member of the Shinnecock Nation about the struggles of indigenous people in New York, focusing specifically on the struggle waged by the Shinnecock Nation against the settler state of New York.
Mel and Julian discuss the plan by a fracking company to build a pipeline through North Brooklyn. The pre-recorded clips are from a Frack Outta Brooklyn rally.
Frack Outta Brooklyn is a coalition led by BIPOC grassroots organization fighting alongside the No North Brooklyn Pipeline Coalition to resist the National Grid pipeline.
