In this episode, we're talking about what gets missed when somatics and nervous system work remove the body from context—and WHY racism, oppressive systems, economic realities, identity, history, and the conditions of our communities matter when we're talking about the body. We're getting into accessing safety in our bodies, regulation, emotional processing, and what it actually looks like to support the nervous system without asking ourselves to deny what's REAL. Because our bodies don't exist outside of our environment. Our bodies don't exist outside of systems. Our bodies don't exist outside of the world we're actually living in. If your nervous-system work requires you to remove racism, oppression, identity, or the actual conditions of your life—the framework is incomplete. Because sometimes the BODY isn't the problem. The framework is the problem.
