We lie to ourselves all of the time. Human beings are incredibly complicated creatures and it is not easy for us to be truthful with ourselves. In a world one’s life is always on display we spend almost all of our time presenting as someone, which we are not. Thankfully Jesus provides us the space and opportunity to be honest. When we are with God we can be completely honest, because He knows everything about us already. In this talk we will discuss the pressure teenagers feel to ‘perform’ and encourage them to engage in truly honest conversation with Jesus.
