June is the month of heroes for the Philippines. June is when the "Araw ng Kalayaan" is celebrated to commemorate the work of the heroes of the past, Filipinos who fought for independence against its colonizers. It can be called kagitingan as well as they have committed their lives to protect the country.

However in this interview, I continue to chat with Mr Walter Villagonzalo to discuss the concept of the modern day hero. In the sense of people who volunteer in the community, and how we could give them more credit and recognition for their contributions and talents/skills offered for free.

A very interesting discussion with a man who has been there as a volunteer for many many years here in Australia, he is so knowledgeable about this topic.
