As one adds the light of Christ into their life, they will receive more power.  Darcee is a living testimony of this truth.  She has dedicated her life to following and rejoicing in Jesus Christ and she has received power to persist in difficult situations, power to wait on the Lord, power to achieve her desires, and power to achieve things she never even dreamed of.  As a lover of words, Darcee, looked up the definitions of Recognize and Rejoice and what she discovered brought this podcast to a whole new level.  

Recognize: to show official appreciation of. 

Rejoice: to experience joy and gladness in a high degree.  

Darcee points out that we can recognize or show our official appreciation for all Jesus Christ has done for us by our actions; actions such as attending the temple, listening to His prophets, serving others, etc.  Then as a result of showing our appreciation we experience joy and gladness, as a gift.  We don't create joy, we experience and receive it as a natural consequence of worshipping our Lord.
