In this sermon, we explored the story of Job and his friends from the Bible, focusing on the theme of true friendship and support during times of hardship. Job, a man of great faith, faced immense suffering and loss, yet remained steadfast in his devotion to God. His friends, though misguided in their attempts to explain his suffering, were present with him through his trials. We delved into the characteristics of real friends – those who are present in our "during" seasons, not just before or after our struggles. The sermon highlighted the importance of having friends who are genuinely concerned for our well-being and spiritual health.
