Following Christ is not a contractual agreement, but covenant obedience!  In this message from the "Life After Exile" series, Pastor Joey looks at Nehemiah 10: 28-39 as the Jewish community in Jerusalem reaffirm and renew their commitment to their covenant with God.  The focus is really on three distinct areas that were the root causes of the idolatry (spiritual adultery) that brought the Exile in the first place.  We see the same tendencies, that of family compromise, distrust in God to provide, and greed today.
