After a four month break, drought returned to South Jersey and this time, it's covering most of the state, too. A lack of widespread, though historically intense isolated rain, made it the preliminary 19th driest August since records started in 1895 and the most sweltering August on record. Joined by an unusually quite hurricane season, there was plenty for Meteorologist Joe Martucci and New Jersey State Climatologist Dr. Dave Robinson to talk about on this Something in the Air podcast.
