Europe is melting under the heat of an unusually hot summer.

Temperatures have passed 40F and Europe is experiencing a very hot summer. Over 9,000 people died in the heatwave that hit France in 2003. Across Europe, that death toll was closer to 35,000.

These extreme hot summers are more frequent.

Awareness: take time to learn more about the extremes in weather hitting our various continents.

Action: Share that information as you have conversations through your day. And brain storm how we can keep cool as we deal with these extremes more often. The ideas can range from the common sense to the ingenious!
