In this episode of the Record Night Podcast, we review a failed episode from the week previous. Jake's offering for Joe and Collin to listen to was "TRYPNOTYX" a jazz album by Victor Wooten, Dennis Chambers and Bob Franceschini. For the first time in the history of Record Night, we did not complete the album as Joe and Collin found the music too unpleasant/anxiety inducing to continue with sides C and D of the double LP. After watching a clip of the debacle, we attempt to do a post-mortem and discuss why Jazz is so polarizing, and the possibility of giving Jazz another try in the future.
