In which our heroes talk nonsense about Zach Bryan
In today's show I'm joined by my partner in Country crimes, Jamie Onolfo as we discuss our favourite songs from Oklahoma's favourite son...Zach Bryan
I stumbled onto Zach Bryan when his 2023 self titled album popped up on a algorithm and it caught me a perfect time...just as I needed some sad songs about cowboys, lost loves and pick up trucks.
Over the last year he's quickly become a favourite for both me and Jamie so discuss our thoughts on his albums, look at some song rankings from around the world wide web and finally chat about our Top 5 Zach Bryan songs

In which our hero talks nonsense about his favourite records from 1994
I have absolutely no idea how 1994 is suddenly 30 years ago. I see 1994 as my default setting, the time when I woke up and became conscious....like Neo in The Matrix but less Jesus-y
Anyway, I have a theory that 1994 is the core year for where my record collection or musical tastes really become concrete....things I like I'll listen to forever and perhaps more importantly, the things I don't become more certain.
In today's show I go through 30 albums that turn 30 years old this year and try and explain why some of them have stuck for so long.

In which our hero talks nonsense about Infernal Love by Therapy?
I remember going to sixth form college in September 1995, I left less than a year later with no extra qualifications but a lasting love for this band that the were on the shirts of the tough boys in the year above...Therapy?
On the podcast today I speak about the 5th album from Northern Ireland band Therapy? and their follow up to the massive Troublegum....1995's Infernal Love
I'll be getting into my thoughts on the record as it approaches it's 30th anniversary, see how it stands against the other Therapy? albums and hear some thoughts from the band that I found kicking around the world wide web
Finally I'll go through a few categories to try and give it a "proper review", see where I left it in my "Greatest Albums of All Time Ever" list and choose the best track on the album

In which our heroes talk nonsense about our favourite songs from Bruce Springsteen
As usual you can find the show over on Mixcloud where we get to play some of our selections
As Born in the USA reaches 40 this year and we look to similar big birthdays for Born to Run (50), The Ghost of Tom Joad (30) and Devils & Dust (20) next year it seemed like a good idea to grab a hold of a Springsteen superfan and make a list of our favourite tracks.
Spoiler Alert...Deep Cuts and Hipster Picks IncomingWe chat about how we came to finally get into Springsteen, touch on experiences of seeing him live and compare our selections to those from the music press.
We had a special contribution from Dino Corvino so please check out his piece on Skateboarding On Their Altar
Get involved and add your favourite Bruce Springsteen tracks over on our Substack blog and have a look at some of the Springsteen physical media in my collection over on Instagram

Full Show including my favourite songs from this album on Mixcloud
Today we're looking at an album, and a band that are quite difficult to stick in a box...they're a very British band but definitely not Britpop, their records came out at the same time as Nirvana, Pearl Jam and all those Seattle bands but they're certainly not grunge... they've toured with Def Leppard, played Festivals alongside Metallica and Marilyn Manson and headlined some of the country's finest venues over the last 30 odd years proving that sometimes, all you need... is some massive riffs, some big hooky choruses and a bunch of lads from Bradford bouncing around like Zebedee.

In which our hero talks nonsense about Guns 'n' Roses
Listen to the complete show with all the tunes over on MIXCLOUD
In today's show I compile my Top 5 songs by one of my favourite bands, Guns 'n' Roses, have a look at some opinions of others who actually get paid for their opinions and hear the thoughts of you, the dear listener.
Whether you're a fan of the sweaty, sleazy Appetite era, love the pomposity and grandeur of the Use Your Illusion albums and subsequent mega tours or, and I'm sure this is a minority, you love The Chinese Democracy, there's something here for you.
As mentioned in the show...
