Brian began telling his story that he once thought was boring... once he no longer felt nervous his narrated journey unpacked the insidious side of alcohol and prescription medication addiction that he hid from his family and friends, or so he thought. The thing about addiction is it makes us lie to everyone, even ourselves when we are in full-blown use. Brian's tale luckily has a happy ending... for now.
