RecoveryOne (fka Trainer Rx), a Walnut Creek, CA-based musculoskeletal (MSK) recovery company, raised $12m in funding.
The round was led by Cigna Ventures, with participation from existing investor 7wire Ventures and personal participation by members of the management team.
The company will use the funds to strengthen its ability to reach a broader population suffering from MSK conditions.
Led by CEO Mark Luck Olson and Chief Product Officer Miriam Beecham, RecoveryOne provides personalized programs that combine digital therapy and live coaching to reduce costs, accelerate recovery and drive patient satisfaction.
