We are being urged to rethink waste and double down on our recycling efforts this week (7-13 November) to mark National Recycling Week.

The theme of this year’s National Recycling Week is ‘Waste isn’t Waste until it’s Wasted’ calling us to reflect on waste as a resource; reconsider how we buy, how we use and dispose of materials, so they don’t get wasted and dumped into landfill.

Alejandra Laclette, Planet Ark’s Senior Recycling Campaigns Manager, shares her tips on how to recycle, reuse and reduce our waste. She highlights some of the mistakes we’ve been making in terms of our recycling efforts and the potential repercussions of our disappointing habits.
