We talk about the original artist (Harry Reser), the most popular version of the song (The Jackson 5), the songwriters (Coots and Gillespie), and of course the Brooks & Dunn version.

In the season 1 finale, Marshall, Alex, and Matt give their 100 Proof Neon rankings and share their final thoughts on the album.

In this episode, we take a look at the Roy Acuff, Dom Flemons, and Lonesome Old River Blues. Acuff originally released the song, and Flemons released a cover of the song in 2018. Dom Flemons is a multi-instrumentalist folk-country singer that is a must listen, and is our 2023 highlighted black history month country artist.
